Children's Day Celebration
Children's Day is one of the most popular and highly celebrated events around the world! Almost every country has an official Children's Day!Although it may be hard to believe, the United States, California, and San Diego still does not have an official Children's Day!
To this end, the San Diego Children's Coalition is working hard to bring awareness of the efforts to establish an official national Children's Day! Organizations in California have been pushing the last Saturday in April while other national organizations are promoting the 2nd Sunday in June as Children's Day.
Children's Day is Coming Soon!
In April 2012, the Children's Coalition will launch a month long Children's Day Celebration to bring awareness of the efforts to establish a national Children's Day. The Celebration will promote charitable and children & family oriented events throughout the County of San Diego!
The highlight of the Celebration will be "A Celebration Under the Stars" on Thursday April 26th at Bali Hai from 6pm to 10pm to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the San Diego Family Magazine! The Gala will be a Hollywood style event with outstanding music and entertainment!
